A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form goes to the outside provider that supplies the results. Hudson County Residents Directory does not retain a copy of those searches. If you send a message, we receive the contents of that message and use them to respond.

We use this information to operate the service, address technical issues, understand aggregate traffic, and improve the reference material. We do not sell visitor lists or create personal visitor profiles.

Links may lead to county and state portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools. Those organizations control information submitted to their services under their own policies. This also applies to sponsored search results provided by another company.
Who Might See Your Data
Hosting and support vendors process logs on our behalf. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or otherwise permitted by law.
How We Protect Your Data
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. There are no user accounts, passwords, or individual user profiles maintained by Hudson County Residents Directory.

This reference is intended for adults and does not target children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if a minor may have sent information so it can be removed.
